In an effort to share those great shots and moments from the 2012 season I am asking our membership to submit their game photos for the "Photo of the Week". We will post the winner and maybe a few others on the website weekly. Additionally we will post the special ones on our Official Lamar Little League Facebook page.
Please submit decent quality photos of 500kb to 1.5mb so that they can displayed adequately. I would prefer something shot in the 640 x 480 ratio as to allow for a standard presentation format. Looking forward to some great shots! Please make all your submissions to email@example.com.
All Try-outs to be rescheduled (UPDATED) MONDAY FEB 6th

Due to inclement weather, try-outs will be cancelled for Saturday February 4th. Our make up day for all divisions will be Monday, evening February 6th with the option of still having Tuesday to support make ups should logisitics or potential conflicts arise. We will use Sunday as a day to prepare the fields after the severe soaking and flooding. In the case of conflicts, please call or email your Player Agent first, your Division VP second, then any Board member as a last resort to address your issue regarding the make-up and they will assist in getting you to the right person.
Please arrive at the park at 5:30pm for check-in, try-outs will start promptly at 6:00pm. We tried to avoid the one try-out time approach but we are forced to use this approach on the make-ups. Please check this posting on our website regularly as we may be forced to adjust or modify our plan.

Due to weather, tonight's Warm-Up Clinic Session (Tuesday January 31st) is cancelled. Weather permitting, Thursdays's session is still planned as stated.

The 2012 Team Mom Meetings will be held as follows for Team Moms in these specific divisions:
- February 12th, Sunday (2:00pm to 3:00pm): Tee Ball, Machine A, Varsity, Majors
- February 15th, Wednesday (6:00pm to 7:00pm): Machine AA, Machine AAA, Minors
Key items related to opening day activities, season and more will be discussed. For any questions related to the items or the meeting please contact the Team Mom Coordinator. Her information can be found here.

UPDATE !!! Time and Date Change (Monday January 23rd from 6:30pm to 8:30pm)
The manadatory meetings/clinics for our Coaches/Managers and Umpires are now officially scheduled and fast approaching. Please mark your calendars for the important dates.
The Spring 2012 Manager's / Coach's Meeting will be held Monday, January 23rd from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the George Library. Should you have questions regarding your status as a Coach or Manager, please visit our Board of Directors page and contact the appropriate Division VP. Discussions will cover a variety of topics including:
- Protocols with Players, Parents, Umpires, etc.
- Team Requirements
- Various Other Topics
